Victoria specialises in teaching French to adults of any level, beginners, intermediate and advanced. On top of her specialisation, she can tutor children from 8 years old. She can also help with French exams such as GCSE, IGCSE, A-level, DELF, and DALF... She is DBS checked.
Before working with us, Victoria was a private French tutor in France. In addition to that, she has been helping French children in France with their homework in order to achieve better grades.
Victoria is an outgoing and fun individual who loves sharing experiences and knowledge. During her free time, she enjoys going to the cinema, learning things about History and travelling to discover new things.
She thinks a good teacher should be patient and able to create a safe environment where learners are not afraid to try. She also believes that to be a good teacher it is essential to be a good listener. In addition to French, she has a good English level and an intermediate level in Spanish. She has learnt those languages at school and at university, but also while travelling.
Every lesson follows the Structured French methodology that we have refined over more than a decade. Rather than relying on improvised conversations or disconnected exercises, our curriculum follows a carefully designed progression where vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and conversation develop together. Each lesson is supported by our collection of twelve books, ensuring every student benefits from the same structured learning experience.
We have taught French to people from different parts of the world, adapting the teaching method to their background, requirements, and consideration of their mother tongue. We had the pleasure to teach French to university lecturers, researchers and doctors, and people working in the cinema, the music, and the media industry such as tv producers, journalists, or musicians. We have as well taught French to business owners, to CEOs, and to members of the European Parliament.
